Snap BlueDot to the path/route

Is there a provision to snap user’s current location/BlueDot (acquired via indoor positioning system) to the path/route, meaning, smaller deflections of user location on the path will be rounded to the nearest point on the path? Google maps seems to have this feature (for outdoors) and could be very helpful especially given that BLE based positioning can see fluctuations in the exact position and snapping it to the path will enable users to get a broader sense of direction they are heading in, discounting the minor deflections.

This is an interesting idea. What you describe isn’t currently available in the Mappedin SDKs. I have shared this with our developer team to consider in a future update. Thank you for the feedback!

Something you might be interested in is highlighting the section of the path the user has already travelled. This is a bit different than what you are asking for, but does help to show the user where they have travelled. You can view this in action in the following showcase demo.
